Go Beyond At Home

28-Week Prayer Guide

rr updated picture

Church Family,

Thank you for joining me on the journey of 28 weeks of prayer as we seek to “Go Beyond at Home” here at Kingsland.

This is an incredible time in the life of Kingsland as we seek God through 28 weeks of intentional, guided prayer, asking Him to move in our hearts, home, church and beyond.

Our Pastoral Staff are writing specific prayers each week to lead us into a deeper dependence on God. Our prayer is that God will do a work in our hearts through these 28 Weeks of Prayer and prepare us, help us understand His vision for Kingsland, and do what only He can do through the people of Kingsland!

Blessings,
Pastor Ryan

NOTE:

The focus for Week 4 of our 28 Weeks is about trusting the LORD. If we think about it, there are probably times that we struggle with trusting the LORD, and there are probably areas of our lives that are easier to trust God than other areas. Trusting the LORD is about our relationship with God and that means that God will help us trust Him. One of most powerful ways God helps us deepen our trust in Him is through reading and mediating on Scripture. To begin our 4th week of prayer, let’s ask God to grow our trust in Him as we read the following verses and reflect on His faithfulness!

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His faithful love endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2).

The LORD is the one who will go before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8).

God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:9-10).

Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ (Ephesians 1: 3).

Week 4
Day 7

March 30

Keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

— Hebrews 12:2

REMINDER: As Believers, we celebrate our Resurrected Savior Jesus Christ this Easter Weekend. We get to worship King Jesus and rejoice in Him because He is worthy! Jesus endured the cross – taking all our sin and shame – and paid the price for us to be saved, healed, and set free! We have been rescued by our Resurrected King Jesus!

TODAY’S PRAYER:

–  Take a few minutes and praise Jesus for who He is and what He did through his death and resurrection.

–  What are you grateful for that Jesus has done in your life? Thank Him for those things that He has done for you.

–  People who have not trusted Jesus for salvation will be attending Easter Services at Kingsland this weekend. Pray for these people to have open hearts to the Gospel and to respond by putting their trust in Jesus.
