Who We Are

Mission

Inviting all people to experience true fulfillment in Jesus Christ one home at a time

Kingsland is committed to moving in the direction of people in need—whether they are around the block or around the world. Our Mission’s Ministry is actively engaged in nations all around the globe. Kingsland’s International People Groups Ministry is committed to sharing Christ with people of all nations in our community as we embrace our unity in Christ through worshiping together.

Matthew 28:19-20; Revelation 7:9-10; Acts 1:8

In a culture that is becoming increasingly uninterested in pursuing religion or the things of God, we can all share the common bond of longing for fulfillment. As followers of Christ, we know that true fulfillment can only be found through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and we want to invite our friends and neighbors to find that fulfillment in Jesus as well.

John 15:5-9; John 10:10

We believe the home was designed by God to be the primary place for discipleship. We view parents are the primary faith trainers for their children, and our ministries are dedicated to resourcing authentic discipleship in the home.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 22:6; Psalm 145:4

Vision

See 1,000,007 (1M7) homes transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Tipping Point

We believe if 1M7 homes could be transformed by the power of the Gospel and experience true fulfillment in Jesus Christ, such a movement would privide the “tipping point” needed to restore the home to God’s original design. While this seems like an impossibly large number, we know that with God all things are possible. Each of our homes are uniquely positioned to take responsibility for reaching 7 of of these 1M7 homes.

values

We value Scripture. We teach and live on its foundation and under its authority. Following the example of Christ, we see the value of both the grace and truth it demonstrates.

Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 1:14, Hebrews 4:12

We value the family as the first institution designed by God for spiritual formation, relationships, and reflecting His image. We seek to ensure that every element of church life supports and equips that essential role.

Scriptures: Genesis 2:24, Deut. 6:4-7, Psalm 78:1-8, Ephesians 5: 22- 33, Ephesians 6:1- 4, Luke 2:52, Proverbs 31:10-12 & 28-31

We value authentic community that extends out of our personal relationship with Jesus, and the Spirit-filled life to which we are called. We realize that true community happens naturally when we are fully, mutually dependent on the Lord. Bearing one another’s burdens, edification, mutual intercession, and corporate worship are the tools God uses to connect our hearts. Most importantly, we acknowledge that the most foundational purpose for our worship is that God is worthy to be sought by His People.

Scriptures: Acts 2:1, Galatians 6:2,1 Peter 3:7, Hebrews 10:24-25, James 1:5-8, Luke 6:12-13, Proverbs 11:14, Exodus 33:15, John 15:5

We embrace the role and value of all generations, and God’s high calling to connect them. We value the role that the collective Church body plays in complementing family life. Because not all members are a part of a Christ-centered home, we see the opportunities the Church has to support these individuals – serving as extended family. We not only value the impact of generational connection today, but likewise, see the significance of the legacy we will leave to generations long after we are gone.

Scriptures: Psalm 78:1-7, Titus 2:1-7, 1 Timothy 5: 3-8, Luke 2:41-51, 2 Timothy 1:5

We value the joy of “going beyond,” cultivating a spirit of generosity and service that benefits the Kingdom rather than our own agendas. In the context of church life, we acknowledge that every member has been uniquely gifted to serve the Body, and we value opportunities to discover and use those gifts to serve others. We believe that the scope of this high calling begins in our homes and extends to the ends of the earth. Following Christ’s example, we endeavor to meet physical needs as a gateway to fulfilling the deepest needs only the Gospel can satisfy.

Scriptures: Romans 12:4- 8, 1 Corinthians 12:4- 11, Philippians 2:3-8, Ephesians 4:11-14, 1 Peter 4:10-11, Matthew 25:14-30, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Philippians 4:14-20, 2 Corinthians 8:3-7

We commit to living out FOUR HABITS of true fulfillment as we experience life...

In Christ
Rest

Through devotion to prayer and the study of Scpriture, we rest in the truth of God’s love.

At Home
Bless

We bless our family by ascribing God’s promise of unconditional love and acceptance to them.

Together
Gather

We make gathering with other believers a priority for our family as we sharpen, equip, love, and serve one another.

Beyond
Go

We want to follow Jesus’ example of moving in the direction of people in need.
