Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
Church Family,
Thank you for joining me on the journey of 28 weeks of prayer as we seek to “Go Beyond at Home” here at Kingsland.
This is an incredible time in the life of Kingsland as we seek God through 28 weeks of intentional, guided prayer, asking Him to move in our hearts, home, church and beyond.
Our Pastoral Staff are writing specific prayers each week to lead us into a deeper dependence on God. Our prayer is that God will do a work in our hearts through these 28 Weeks of Prayer and prepare us, help us understand His vision for Kingsland, and do what only He can do through the people of Kingsland!
Blessings,
Pastor Ryan
NOTE:
The focus for Week 4 of our 28 Weeks is about trusting the LORD. If we think about it, there are probably times that we struggle with trusting the LORD, and there are probably areas of our lives that are easier to trust God than other areas. Trusting the LORD is about our relationship with God and that means that God will help us trust Him. One of most powerful ways God helps us deepen our trust in Him is through reading and mediating on Scripture. To begin our 4th week of prayer, let’s ask God to grow our trust in Him as we read the following verses and reflect on His faithfulness!
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His faithful love endures forever (Psalm 136:1).
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2).
The LORD is the one who will go before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged (Deuteronomy 31:8).
God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins (1 John 4:9-10).
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavens in Christ (Ephesians 1: 3).
Week 4
Day 4
March 27
“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and they will trust in the LORD.”
— Psalm 40:3
REMINDER: When God changes our hearts and does a powerful work in our lives, family, and our church it impacts those around us. We all have people in our lives who have impacted us because we’ve seen God transform their hearts and lives. When God sets someone free, heals a family, gives someone grace to walk through unimaginable grief, restores the heart of the weary, and saves the lost – it will cause us to be in awe of God and put our trust in Him. Our life story matters significantly to those God places around us.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Who is someone that comes to mind when you think of people who have impacted your relationship with God because you saw Him transform their life? Thank God for them and the impact they made on your relationship with Him.
– Ask God to remind you of something that He has done in your life that has impacted another person.
– As a church family, we all have brokenness in our lives. One of the ways we can love one another is to pray for each other. Spend some time praying for those in our church family who are hurting and walking through difficult trials. Pray for God to comfort them, strengthen them, and help them to trust in Him.
– Pray that Kingsland would continue to be a church where people are transformed by the power of the Gospel.
