Don't Look Back: a Study of Hebrews.

The Book of Hebrews was written to help a struggling body of believers who were undergoing persecution to persevere and not renounce their faith.  Hebrews was written to people who were thinking about rejecting Christianity and returning to their old life.  The purpose of the book is to show them that God’s promises were fulfilled in Jesus, that Jesus is the supreme and fullest revelation of who God is and that everything that came before him was building up and point to Him and is a shadow in comparison.

Hope is something that we cannot live without. It is essential to life, yet so many families find themselves in the seemingly hopeless situation of trying to put back to together the pieces of their broken lives in the aftermath of the death of a child. Hope Unshakeable is a Bible study that helps these child loss families establish and strengthen the deep roots needed to walk their grief journey. It is also a time for them to be able to connect with other families who are walking the same grief journey. Many families feel alone in the aftermath of child loss; it doesn’t have to be that way. Come join us as we share truth, tears, laughter, and triumph while walking together on our grief journeys. Cost: $15 for the workbook.

Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1:27)

Tapestry

6 - 7:30 pm in Room C235

We understand that at times, adoptive and foster families may feel overwhelmed or isolated at times. One of the most effective ways for families to receive the support they need is by joining a care group. This group offers families a way to connect with others and receive encouragement to make parenting through the adoption experience easier.

Kingsland hosts a weekly parent's care group for adoptive and foster parents on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Kingsland's Central Campus. No registration for Tapestry.
