TODAY’S PRAYER THOUGHT
It’s Tuesday, February 28, the last day of Awaken 2023. Sunday is coming. And, Easter Sunday will be here before you know it—Sunday, April 9. For the last 30 days you’ve been praying/ fasting, serving/loving the people on your Prayer Card. If you haven’t already, maybe it’s time to invite them to your church. As Cynthia noted above, it was a simple invitation to church that transformed her life. At church she met Jesus and His people, and nothing would ever be the same for her. We’re all familiar with the Apostle Peter. But it was his brother Andrew who invited him to come meet the Savior! Who will you invite to join you at church this Sunday?
TODAY’S PRAYER FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
1. Lord, please give me and my brothers/sisters across our city the courage to invite our friends to church very soon. 2. Lord, help me and your people across our city welcome with open arms the people others invite to church with them.

1. Lord, soften hearts all across our city to respond positively to invitations to church. 2. Lord, help our churches be places where the good news of the Gospel is proclaimed, and help sinners understand and trust in Jesus!
