Fall 2017 Wednesday night programming for all ages: September 13th - December 6th, 2017

Spring 2018 – Join us for Winter Blast on January 10th. Wednesday night classes begin January 17th.

Scripture fed, Spirit led, Worship based

Abide is our worship-based prayer gathering. Realizing we can do nothing apart from Jesus, Abide is designed to seek the heart of God and to rest and remain in Christ. We gather to focus on Scripture, spend time in prayer, and lift up our praise. Our hope is that our lives and our prayers will be transformed to reflect His glory. More info about Abide.

Meets in A-Conference room

Frontline: No Man Left Behind  Men Only

Wednesday Nights • 7:00 – 8:00 PM • Room: The Courts • September 13th – December 6th. Begins again January 17th.

Men of Kingsland, we’re inviting you to a life-changing event that happens each Wednesday. It is our desire for every man at Kingsland to connect with other men. Men like you who are on the frontline of a great battle, fighting for their heart, their spouse, and their children. Join this friendship of men who are walking together, praying for one another, and trusting God for great victories. You are not alone! You’re going to really like Frontline! Teacher: Gil Harris

6:00 to 8:00 PM • September 13th – December 6th. New session begins January 17th.

Breakthroughs is an intentional path to freedom from the Walls in our lives. We refer to these Walls in our lives as strongholds. Strongholds create bondage in our lives, rob us of God’s peace and joy, and cause us to feel “stuck” in life. Breakthroughs is designed to help individuals identify and tear down strongholds, thus leading to freedom in Christ. On this intentional path, we discover our identity in Christ and biblical truth that sets us free from lies of the enemy. Breakthroughs includes a large group lesson, small group time, and workbook (cost $10). Room C234. Leader: Susan Sowell, Pat Bramlett and Doug Valot

A Study of Revelation

6:00 – 7:30 PM • September 13th – December 6th

Join us for a comprehensive look at the completeness of Jesus Christ, as found in the last book of the Bible. Just as Genesis is the “book of beginnings”, Revelation is the “book of consummation.” There is no financial cost for the class; however, class participation, including personal Bible study, is required. Teachers: Gil Grey & Mark Kuhn. Room C231.

That the World May Know: Clash of Kingdoms

4:00 – 5:00 PM • September 13th – October 18th

As Christians, we're called to proclaim God's name in all the earth (1 Chronicles 16:8), but how do we do that in the midst of our culture? In this fifteenth volume of the video series, That The World May Know, we will discover how Paul communicated the good news of Christ to Philippi, a Roman colony that worshipped false gods. We will be challenged to live the message as Paul did while he encouraged the church in Philippi to consider itself a colony of heaven, not of Rome. We will be led to consider our citizenship– and the message we convey to the world. Cost $10. Teacher:  Mike Kelley. Room: A-Conference Room.

The Bible is God's word, but many people struggle with understanding how it was put together and how the books relate to each other or to our lives. The purpose of this study is to give a broad overview of the Old Testament including history, archaeology, and major themes. The goal is to give people a greater confidence in understanding the Old Testament and a renewed eagerness to study the word of God for themselves.

6:30 - 8:00 PM • September 13th – October 18th

In a culture that values speed, efficiency, image, and busyness, some of us are aching for another way to live: more intentional, more connected. Busyness drains our souls and harms our bodies. This five-week study will lead you to a new way of life, soaked in grace, rest, silence, simplicity, prayer, and connection with the people that matter most to us. Cost: $20.
