He was establishing what it means to seek that kingdom first.  We call the speech He gave "The Sermon on the Mount." What Does God's Word Say About Prayer?
September 5 - December 5 | 7:00 - 8:00 pm | Room C233

Teacher: Howard Kelly

Can you imagine being with the Lord Jesus when He prayed? The disciples saw him go off to pray many times. Finally, after seeing Him finish a prayer, they found the courage to ask Him to teach them how to pray. Please join this 9-week study as we go through J.I. Packer's book, Praying the Lord's Prayer, diving into the pattern of prayer taught by Jesus to His discipes in Matthew 6 and Luke 11. We will also look deeply into some of the many prayers found in Scripture, concentrating on the Christian affections displayed in each one and how they compare to what Jesus taught his disciples. (Cost: $13)
