28-Week Prayer Guide
Seeking his PROVISION
As we wrap up our 28 weeks of prayer this week, we will focus our prayers for the next 7 days on giving praise and thanksgiving for God’s provision in our lives. God has done great things in us and through our prayers through these 28 weeks of prayer, but there is more! Our Father wants us to continue to seek Him, His Kingdom and trust in His provision for our hearts, homes, and for Kingsland.
Week 28
Day 1
September 8
“I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
— Psalm 121:1-2
REMINDER: We get to choose each day who and where we look to for our help. It is a gift to have family and friends to help us, but family and friends have limitations. There is only so much that they can do for us. But God has no limitations on what He can do for us. He has already saved us and given us a new identity as His sons and daughters and transferred us into His everlasting Kingdom.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Meditate on Psalm 121:1-2 (read the verses slowly several times).
– What are some specific times in your life when God has helped you? As you recall these times in your life, thank God. Thank Him for the help he gave you and the difference it has made in your life.
– What is heavy on your heart today? What are you worried about or anxious about today? Tell God that you choose to trust Him and ask Him to help you. Thank Him that He is the Maker of heaven and earth and that your help comes from Him.
