Each of us has a purpose in God’s plan. God makes it evident through His Word that our purposes go beyond selfish limitations into serving others in many different ways. This week let’s hear from the Lord through Scripture and prayer as we consider how we can give more of ourselves to serve Him.

“But when you give to the poor, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.“
— Matthew 6:3-4
REMINDER: Humility comes easier the more you practice it. If you make giving a consistent rhythm to your life, it becomes easier to do it in secret. You can bless others and the Church with humble giving. You can trust that this honors the Lord and, likewise, blesses you.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask the Lord for opportunities to give to the poor.
– Confess if you have wanted to boast about your giving.
– Thank the Lord for the opportunity to give out of the outpouring of your blessings.
