28-Week Prayer Guide
Teachers and Students
We are just days away from the annual transition of starting the new school year. This is a meaningful change in season for so many in our community but specifically teachers and students. This week, we will focus on praying specifically for our teachers and students as they begin this new season.
Week 22
Day 6
August 2
“Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.“
— 1 Peter 3:15
REMINDER: You’ve likely heard the common proverb: “Life is not a sprint but a marathon.” In the same way that endurance is key to a long-distance runner, it also plays a vital role in our Christian faith. The start of a school year (like the start of the calendar year) often brings optimism and motivation, but the inevitable challenges that arise can greatly diminish our enthusiasm and resolve. We can find hope in God’s Word: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Praise God for the ways He has produce fruit in your life in the past.
– Pray for endurance to continue growing in your love for God and others.
– Pray that our students and teachers never tire of representing Christ well at our schools.
– Thank God for victory He has already won over any challenge this world may bring.
