28-Week Prayer Guide
Teachers and Students
We are just days away from the annual transition of starting the new school year. This is a meaningful change in season for so many in our community but specifically teachers and students. This week, we will focus on praying specifically for our teachers and students as they begin this new season.
Week 22
Day 3
July 30
“Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up. Also, if two lie down together, they can keep warm; but how can one person alone keep warm? And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.“
— Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
REMINDER: Our men’s ministry consistently highlights the phrase “alone is dangerous.” One of the joys of a relationship with Christ is that it’s intensely personal. God knows us intimately and connects with us personally, but we must be careful not equate intimacy with isolation. We were designed by God to live out our or personal faith in community with other believers that encourage, sharpen, and strengthen us. As the new school year begins, who are some other believers that you could invest in deeper Biblical community with?
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Thank God for the fellow believers He has placed in your life.
– Ask God to show you practical ways to strengthen your relationships with the Christian community God has placed you in.
– Pray that our teachers and students will find other Christ-followers in their schools to build encouraging relationships with.
