— Matthew 5:6
Reminder: Because we’ve inherited the earth and are no longer striving for earthly reward, our desires will change. We’ll start hungering and thirsting for the one thing we can’t get on our own—righteousness. And because we seek it, God will give it to us.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Consider what areas of your life apart from God that might be the source of your deepest hunger. Bring those before the Lord.
– Ask the Lord to stir a renewed hunger in us for His presence and His Word.
– Invite the Lord to show you how to be truly fulfilled in Jesus.
