Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
mission trips
Kingsland Family, I am honored to get to write this week’s prayer guide. Over the course of the next two weeks, the KSM (Kingsland Student Ministry) will be sending out over 400 students and adult leaders around the world to “Go Beyond” and go on mission. Our students will be serving in Houston (6th grade), Austin (7th grade), Arlington (8th grade), Chicago (9th grade), Alaska (10th grade), Colombia (11th grade), and Uganda (12th grade). Please join us in praying for the hearts of our students and leaders, for the people we will encounter, and for your own heart as we all have the gift of moving in the direction of people in need and showing the love of Christ!
Week 18
Day 4
July 3
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, and each has the role the Lord has given. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.“
— 1 Corinthians 3:5-7
REMINDER: The church at Corinth has been arguing about who they follow and who has led them. Paul reminds them that we all have different roles in spreading the Word. Some plant seeds, some water, and other’s witness God do what only He can, which is grow people. We have the gift of getting to plant and water seeds, trusting that God will works and grow people.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask God to give our students the perspective to see the beauty and the importance of all the seeds that will be planted this week on Mission Trip. That they would faithfully sow seeds of the Gospel.
– Pray that students will faithfully water seeds that have already been planted and that they would love people well and meet them where they are at.
– Pray that God would grow the seeds that are planted, that people would come to faith in Jesus Christ and lives would be forever changed, both this week and in the years to come.
