Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
mission trips
Kingsland Family, I am honored to get to write this week’s prayer guide. Over the course of the next two weeks, the KSM (Kingsland Student Ministry) will be sending out over 400 students and adult leaders around the world to “Go Beyond” and go on mission. Our students will be serving in Houston (6th grade), Austin (7th grade), Arlington (8th grade), Chicago (9th grade), Alaska (10th grade), Colombia (11th grade), and Uganda (12th grade). Please join us in praying for the hearts of our students and leaders, for the people we will encounter, and for your own heart as we all have the gift of moving in the direction of people in need and showing the love of Christ!
Week 18
Day 3
July 2
“‘Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’“
— Matthew 28:19-20
REMINDER: Before leaving Earth, Jesus gave His disciples The Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations. We as followers of Jesus are called to go and share the Gospel and make disciples. Our students will have opportunities these next two weeks to share the Gospel and make disciples from inner city Houston all the way to Uganda. Join us in praying for disciples to be made across the world.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask God to give our students and leaders favor as they encounter people and have opportunities to share the Gospel with those they encounter.
– Ask for God to give strength and courage to our students as they boldly proclaim the Gospel.
– Pray for the hearts of the people our teams will encounter. That they would be receptive to the message of the Gospel and that they would respond in obedience to God’s voice.
– Pray for the power of the Gospel to change lives, bring freedom from sin, and spread into the lives of many.
– Pray for opportunities to live out the Great Commission in Katy, Texas and for receptive hearts to the Gospel.
