28-Week Prayer Guide
VBS
Friends, thank you for your commitment to pray as a community for 28 weeks. I am thrilled to bring you the week of Kingsland’s VBS. We will be praying for our church community as we minister to over 1,400 children this coming week. Our prayers will center around what they will be learning each day, so that you may appropriately pray for each of their hearts to understand and to learn more about their Savior, Jesus Christ. Will you join me as we pray for these children and volunteers as they learn to recognize the difference between what the world says is true and what God says is true? We will challenge the children to know that God’s truth never changes—even when it’s radically different from what some people say.

REMINDER: VBS can only happen at our church with the support of our community of volunteers, staff, and families. As we wind down from the week of fun and spiritual highs, we are supremely grateful to those who poured into the children all week. Like Daniel tells us, those who teach the Word of God to others and lead those to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Thank God for each area of VBS: Administration, Babies-5th Grade teachers and directors, Kingsland Student Ministry helpers, Recreation, Kitchen, Records, Music, Prayer, Crafts, Skits, and our Nurses, and Special Needs.
– Ask God to give each of our volunteers much needed rest after a long week. Ask God to fill our volunteers with joy as they remember the lives of the children they touched.
– Invite God to inspect your own heart. If you served at VBS, what did God teach you? What did the children teach you? If you didn’t serve, do you feel God prompting you to serve somewhere?
– Pray that as summer moves forward that the Holy Spirit continues to work through VBS- the volunteers and children.
