Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
KAMP
Friendship is truly one of God’s blessings to mankind. These verses highlight the importance of loyal, supportive friendships, the value of heartfelt advice, and the impact of community in both joyous and challenging times.
The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the bible, God encourages us to take care of our brothers and sisters whether they are friends or enemies. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with each other and focusing on building a community of love in words, actions, and prayers.
Week 14
Day 5
June 6
“That whole generation was also gathered to their ancestors. After them another generation rose up who did not know the Lord or the works he had done for Israel.“
— Judges 2:10
REMINDER: Pastor Danny Rangel is planning to talk to our students about a “Mind on your mission” by sharing what happened in Judges after Joshua and his whole generation passed away. A generation rose up that did not know the Lord and they ended up doing what was evil in the Lord’s sight. Pastor Danny will challenge students to take responsibility for their generation by living on mission so that their generation will grow up and know the Lord. The same is true for us! It’s our responsibility as parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends, and believers to live missionally so this generation doesn’t forget the Lord.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Pray for God’s prompting on your own heart today. How might God want you to live missionally for Him so a generation doesn’t forget the Lord?
– Please pray for our students to be convicted about living missionally for Jesus. Pray that God would give them a vision for what that might look like when they return home.
– Please pray for students who might be called to ministry – whether that’s full-time or something else. Pray they might sense that calling and jump in NOW to serve others and share the Gospel.
