Friendship is truly one of God’s blessings to mankind. These verses highlight the importance of loyal, supportive friendships, the value of heartfelt advice, and the impact of community in both joyous and challenging times.
The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the bible, God encourages us to take care of our brothers and sisters whether they are friends or enemies. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with each other and focusing on building a community of love in words, actions, and prayers.

“How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.“

REMINDER: Have you ever wondered how weighty and oftentimes difficult it is for pastors to preach God’s Word week in and week out? It is a joy and delight, but it does come with a huge burden of responsibility, as you can imagine. Pastors wrestle with not only handing the Word of God accurately and pleasing to the Lord, but with conviction over their own hearts to listen and obey everything they preach. Again, this is a great responsibility, but it is joy and delight when it is your calling. Today’s prayer request has to do with those who will be proclaiming God’s Word this week at Kamp.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Thank the Lord for your pastors and anyone who leads a Bible study. Pray for them to lead well and be men and women of integrity who joyfully share the Gospel.
– Please pray for our Kamp speaker (Pastor Danny Rangel), our Kamp worship pastor (Robin Wymer), our entire staff, and all our counselors. Pray that every word uttered, every worship song sung, every 1 on 1 conversation would be seasoned with the Truth of the Gospel and lead students to Jesus.
– Today is also our first day at Kamp. Please pray every student gets off to a great, exciting start and is open to what God has for them this week.
