Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
KAMP
Friendship is truly one of God’s blessings to mankind. These verses highlight the importance of loyal, supportive friendships, the value of heartfelt advice, and the impact of community in both joyous and challenging times.
The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the bible, God encourages us to take care of our brothers and sisters whether they are friends or enemies. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with each other and focusing on building a community of love in words, actions, and prayers.
Week 14
Day 1
June 2
“So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.“
— Colossians 3:1-3
REMINDER: This week’s theme for Kamp is “Mind on Heaven.” Our minds are powerful. God made us this way, and Satan knows this. He often fights us on the battlegrounds of our minds through lies, temptations, and discouragement. We plan to walk through some of the challenges we face when it comes to our minds staying focused on Jesus. We are praying that students would develop a hunger for the things above, instead of the many distracting earthly things. I pray you seek and set your minds on the things above as well this week.
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Thank God for raising you with Christ today! Ask Him to give you a new mind.
– Ask God to open up the minds, hearts, and souls of every person attending Kamp this week. Pray for God to prepare them to receive.
– Pray that the truth of the Gospel and the theme “Mind on Heaven” would be sown deeply into our students this week and that it would bear fruit for eternity.
