Go Beyond At Home

28-Week Prayer Guide

Friendship is truly one of God’s blessings to mankind. These verses highlight the importance of loyal, supportive friendships, the value of heartfelt advice, and the impact of community in both joyous and challenging times.

The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the bible, God encourages us to take care of our brothers and sisters whether they are friends or enemies. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with each other and focusing on building a community of love in words, actions, and prayers.

Week 13
Day 7

june 1

“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.

—  1 Thessalonians 5:11-1

REMINDER: The apostle Paul provides encouragement and instructions on fellowship with these words. These verses serve as a reminder for believers to foster a supportive and caring community, always seeking to build one another up, and demonstrate Christ’s love through their actions. God’s love should pour through us into friendships and community.

Thank God for friendships that will keep you accountable to God’s word.

–  Pray that God would show you people that need your encouragement.

–  Ask God for the courage to provide the necessary feedback to strengthen your community.
