28-Week Prayer Guide
Church Family,
I’m deeply grateful for all who are joining me in this season of earnest prayer for God’s blessing of Kingsland, and for wisdom and provision as we seek to follow God’s leading. This week, we have the opportunity to pray for marriages in our congregation – and if we are married this is a great opportunity to pray for our own marriage. May our church be strengthened by the growth of healthy marriages!
Week 12
Day 6
“LORD, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away. You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways.“
— Psalm 139:1-3
REMINDER: Psalm 139 reminds us that God, the creator of the universe, notices us. He sees us. He doesn’t look over us because of His business or schedule. Simply put, love begins with noticing! We live in a self-absorbed world where we are all taken for granted in one form or another. May our marriages be places where we are truly seen, a safe place where we are “noticed.”
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask God to help you “notice” your spouse today.
– Invite Him to show you ways you can appreciate your spouse in the mundane of the daily tasks and chores we share.
– Thank God for the gift of your spouse.
