28-Week Prayer Guide
Church Family,
I’m deeply grateful for all who are joining me in this season of earnest prayer for God’s blessing of Kingsland, and for wisdom and provision as we seek to follow God’s leading. This week, we have the opportunity to pray for marriages in our congregation – and if we are married this is a great opportunity to pray for our own marriage. May our church be strengthened by the growth of healthy marriages!
Week 12
Day 4
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.“
— Matthew 6:33
REMINDER: Author Gary Thomas states, “Living in a marriage can often be like putting together a jigsaw puzzle.” This simply means we often be so focused on small, individual pieces of daily life, we forget to take a step back and a see the big picture of what God has done and still wants to do in our marriage. Let us not miss forget to seek first God’s purpose for our marriage and our family!
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask God to help us not get bogged down in the minutiae of marriage.
– Pray for guidance as we navigate the challenges our marriages face.
– Pray that we can seek first His kingdom in all areas of our life.
– Thank God for the gift of your spouse.
