Marriage
Church Family,
I’m deeply grateful for all who are joining me in this season of earnest prayer for God’s blessing of Kingsland, and for wisdom and provision as we seek to follow God’s leading. This week, we have the opportunity to pray for marriages in our congregation – and if we are married this is a great opportunity to pray for our own marriage. May our church be strengthened by the growth of healthy marriages!

“… with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.“
— Ephesians 4:2-3
REMINDER: As we pray for marriages in our church, and perhaps even our own marriage, Paul reminds us in today’s verse to start with our own heart and our own humility. May we humble ourselves before the Lord and our family in order to “maintain the unity of the Spirit.”
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Thank the Lord for the gift of marriage.
– If you are married, thank the Lord for your spouse.
– Ask the Lord to show you any areas of your life (relationships at home, work, or church) where you lack humility. Ask him to give you the strength to repair those relationships.
– Thank God for the gift of your spouse.
