Go Beyond At Home
28-Week Prayer Guide
KAMP
Friendship is truly one of God’s blessings to mankind. These verses highlight the importance of loyal, supportive friendships, the value of heartfelt advice, and the impact of community in both joyous and challenging times.
The idea of community comes from the sense of responsibility we have for each other. In the bible, God encourages us to take care of our brothers and sisters whether they are friends or enemies. We must remember the importance of maintaining the connection with each other and focusing on building a community of love in words, actions, and prayers.
Week 14
Day 4
June 5
“And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19
“Without guidance, a people will fall, but with many counselors there is deliverance.” – Proverbs 11:14
REMINDER: Today marks the middle of the week at Kamp! Paul reminded the Philippians that God would supply every need they had. And Proverbs reminds us that the guidance of good counselors helps people stay out of trouble! Today’s prayer requests have to do with the subtle nuances of Kamp that sometimes get overlooked but are so important! We need God to supply all our needs and we need our wonderful counselors to stay strong!
TODAY’S PRAYER:
– Ask the Lord to provide every need you have in your life this week and to provide you with good community or mentors to guide you.
– Please pray for things like safety for all, good sleeping, great attitudes, microphones to work, and great weather! Pray that God would supply our greatest needs and our smallest needs.
– Pray especially for all of our counselors who by now are certainly feeling tired – not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Pray they will be great guides for our students and continue to lead students well!
