Family Ministry Reopening Plans

Aug 23, 2020

After worshipping together on campus the last few months, we are excited to now open our on campus aged group ministries. As we take these next steps to expand our reopening, we need your help!

If you have experienced any COVID-19-related symptoms in the last two weeks, if you have compromising health issues, or if you’re not quite ready to venture out, please continue to join us for worship on kingsland.org/live. Know that your church family loves you and we want to protect you!

We long for the day when we all can freely gather without concern.

Our Commitment to You

Opportunities: We will continue to work to provide safe and flexible options and opportunities for your family to worship on campus or online.

Wellness Checks:  In order to ensure we have a safe and healthy team, our staff and volunteers will conduct health and wellness checks before serving you.

Training:  We continually update and train our team on any local health department recommendations and best practices.

Cleaning and Sanitation:  Team members will continually sanitize and disinfect all surfaces and high contact areas on our campus.  Hand sanitizer stations are provided throughout the building.

Communication:  We commit to continually keep you updated with changes on any processes or requirement that may impact your family.  Look for our weekly emails to stay updated on any changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are reservations required for preschool, children, and student ministry?

For Sunday, August 23rd, YES!  In order to help us plan for proper space and the required volunteers, we are asking parents to register all kids from birth to 12th grade by Sunday / Aug 16th.  Use this link to register:

BIRTH - 12TH GRADE REGISTRATION

Are masks required?

In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order No. 29, masks are not required for churches.  We do recommend the use of masks in common areas and have masks available for you.  Our staff and leaders will wear masks when social distancing is not possible.

How can I give my offering?

In order to provide an “almost touchless environment,” offering plates will not be passed. Other giving methods are available, including dropping a check/cash in the offering boxes, mailing your offering, or giving online (Kingsland.org/give).
