ABIDE  - Wednesday Evening Prayer Gathering led by Pastor Ryan Rush

ABIDE meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Spring and Fall. Abide is led by Pastor Ryan and meets in A-Conference Room (Central Campus). ABIDE is a special time of Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayer. Everyone is welcome to attend ABIDE to pray and receive prayer.

Opportunities to Pray

Kingsland Baptist Church is a house of prayer! We believe we are called to pray and God uses prayer to transform lives, families and beyond. We believe prayer is what God uses to release His Kingdom on earth and is essential for every person to experience true fulfillment in Jesus Christ. We are committed to prayer and equipping every home to be a home of prayer.

The following are opportunities to pray in specific groups and times at Kingsland:

National Day of Prayer - Thursday, May 2, 2019

ABIDE - Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. ABIDE is led by Pastor Ryan and meets in A-Conference Room (Central Campus).

KSM - Monthly Prayer Meeting for dads to pray for their children/teen. Prayer Meeting is led by Student Pastor Joe Landi. For more information, contact Joe at jlandi@kingsland.org.

Parent’s Monthly Prayer Gathering – Once a month, parents gather to pray for their sons and daughter (of all ages) from 8:30 to 9:15 am on Sundays in the Chapel.  Prayer is led by someone on our Pastoral Staff or Family Freedom Team. Meets in the Chapel in the Burns Building (Central Campus). See monthly prayer schedule.

Sunday Morning Intercessors - Sunday Morning Intercessors are individuals who pray on Sunday mornings in the Prayer Room during the Worship Services. For more information about serving as a Sunday Morning Intercessor, contact Susan Sowell at ssowell@kingsland.org.

Weekly Prayer Intercessors - Each week, we receive prayer requests from church members, guests and Kingsland Staff. Weekly Prayer Intercessors serve in the Prayer Ministry by committing to pray for prayer needs each week. Weekly Intercessors can serve from home and commit to praying no less than one hour per week for prayer requests. Prayer Response Team - The Prayer Response Team are men and women who pray with individuals on Sunday Mornings during the time of invitation. For more information about serving on the Prayer Response Team, contact Susan Sowell at ssowell@kingsland.org.

Freedom Prayer Team - The Freedom Prayer Team provides prayer through Altar Prayer Ministry. The Freedom Prayer Team is used for special events such as Family Freedom Weekend, Freedom Week and at the request of Pastor Ryan when he is led to have a Prayer Team on Sunday mornings during invitation. Kingsland Men Praying for Kingsland Men - We are earnestly praying for a Spirit-led revival among the men of Kingsland - a movement of the Holy Spirit where we men are led to seek a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ through time in His Word, prayer and community with fellow believers. Meets every Monday at 6:00 AM in the Burn's Building Chapel for 30 minutes of focused praying.

Men’s Prayer GroupThursday mornings from 6:00 am to 7:00 am. At The Omni Hotel - 13210 Katy Fwy (at Eldridge and I-10) in the Waterside area of the hotel. For more info, contact Marlin Williford at marlinwilliford@aol.com or 832.277.4818. 

Prayer Vigils - Prayer Vigils are led by Pastor Ryan and occur once or twice a year. Prayer Vigils are announced church-wide several weeks prior to the Prayer Vigil.
