In partnership with the Family Freedom Resource Center of Kingsland, the purpose of the Parents Open Forum is to provide a venue for parents to connect with one another over current topics families are facing and receive encouragement and equipping in Gospel-based principles. These forums may include a panelist of parents that have walked through these topics, guest speakers and Kingsland staff. Attendees will have a chance to share challenges, ask questions and receive guidance on resources available to them through the Family Freedom Resource Center.

Milestone Four: Purity for LifePreparing for Purity: April 11th/ Sunday Morning @ 9:30am

Have you had 'the talk' yet with your 6th and/or 7th grader? Do you know what to talk about or how to talk about it? Would you like a few resources and some helpful tips? We want to partner with you to get ready for the purity milestone we will walk through next fall when you have an 8th grader. We will provide some talking points, goals and a few resources to get you started as well as offer breakout classes for your 7th grade sons and daughters  (led by Chris Kincaid and Kayla Self).

Milestone Six:  High School Graduation  Preparing for Senior Year: Sunday Morning, April 11th/ Sunday Morning at 11am

Parents of 11th graders, you are one year away from launching your sons and daughters into the world. Are they ready? Are you ready? We want to help provide some critical resources and tips on how to make the upcoming senior year the best it can be. We will cover practical and spiritual issues that you will want to address before they graduate. We will also meet with your 11th graders! Chris Kincaid and Kayla Self will lead a breakout class helping them prepare for their senior year.

Milestone Six:  High School Graduation Senior Summit: April 23rd/April 25th

Parents of the class of 2020, congratulations! We want to celebrate with you and your family on this incredible milestone. We host a Senior Summit dinner on Friday night (April 23rd) where graduating seniors and their families come together in a special time of blessing. A special dinner is served, along with a time of sharing from guest speakers, a short video presentation and a time for parents to bless their seniors. Don’t miss this night!

The following Sunday, April 25th, we celebrate our seniors during all three church services. A short video presentation is shared and our church body gets a time to bless and pray over our seniors. This is a powerful weekend that we hope you don’t miss!

Attention 10th grade families - Your son or daughter is hitting some big markers on the way to adulthood - driving a car and making more of their own decisions. We want to help unpack all that's going on during this season and give you some helpful tools and suggestions to make the next three years as intentional and enjoyable as possible. We will discuss tips on how to empower your students, how to stay connected and invested in their lives while giving them space to grow as an adult. We want to prepare your family to move from adolescence to adulthood.
