We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast over the past several days. Unfortunately, it consistently predicts strong chances of rain, with possible thunderstorms throughout the day and evening. Given the nature of the event, this presents significant challenges—especially for the necessary prior setup and functionality of the Shop with a Purpose market and the snow sled hills, which are central activities of this event.

After careful consideration, and with the safety of the many hundreds of people who typically attend this event in mind, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Christmas Blast.

While we are all deeply disappointed that this special event cannot take place this year, we are excited about the many other meaningful opportunities this Christmas season at Kingsland where we know God will be at work. Visit Kingsland.org/Christmas for more event details!
