Whether it’s because of distractions, busyness, or a case of the blahs, we can experience a drift toward indifference in our spiritual lives. We have a need for an ongoing spiritual awakening if we want to become more aware of God’s presence and activity in our everyday lives.
In Acts: Awakening to God in Everyday Life, a six-week study of the Book of Acts by Melissa Spoelstra, you will journey with the first followers of Jesus and witness the birth and growth of the early church through spiritual awakening to the power of God’s Spirit, message, freedom, grace, mission, and direction. From their experiences you will learn postures that will help you attune your own spiritual heart to experience God’s presence, hear God’s voice, and see God at work all around.

Join us as we enjoy God and his presence through the study of 1 Peter. This study is not a typical fill-in-the-blank study; it is a study where YOU will be equipped to read and study the Bible with a small group of encouraging believers. This study offers a framework for learning how to study the Bible for yourself– we will learn skills and a process that will enrich the way we encounter God in his Word. Join us as we meet God in 1 Peter, and be transformed as we study, pray, memorize and discuss Scripture together.

We are so excited about studying God’s word this semester, with an emphasis on the Psalms, taught by dedicated and enthusiastic leaders! This Bible study has been designed for families: mom and/or dad and children grades K-12.
The format will be a bit different than last year’s Mom & Me Bible study (which was a fabulous success), because our leaders want to expand this opportunity to all school age children. The goal is to learn more about Jesus, and to form deep friendships within a supportive community. This fall we will be trying a few new things so that the younger kiddos can join in, but also our fabulous middle schoolers and high school students will be included and feel engaged at a more mature level.
