English Classes
English as a second language
Kingsland Baptist Church offers English as a second language courses. These courses will help people who speak other languages use English and develop their communication skills. Click below and choose the class that best fits your life.
Comprehensive English courses (reading, listening, writing, and speaking).
Monday morning – AUGUST 21st – DECEMBER 11th 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.: Intro through advanced levels (Intro level is for Spanish speakers only)
Tuesday night – SEPTEMBER 12th – DECEMBER 5th 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.: Intro English Class: Beginning English students only (for all languages)
Thursday morning – AUGUST 24th – DECEMBER 14th; 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.: Intro English Class: Beginning English students only (for all languages)
Class is $30 per semester (materials included)
Aug 22st to Nov 14th
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The ESOL course is designed to meet the needs of students for whom English is not their dominant language.
Students will be reading Bible passages about God’s Chosen People. Through differentiated and interactive reading lessons, the course aims towards developing and achieving students’ spoken fluency and proficiency in the use of the English Language.
All are welcome. (Note: class is conducted in English).
