TODAY’S PRAYER THOUGHT
The world says get what you can, when you can and as much as you can. We are called to give what you can, what you can and as much as you can. Why? Jesus says tells us that we hold the cup, the measuring tape, the scale that will determine what we receive by what we give. Jesus doesn’t say wait till you have the time, the money, the energy, the focus, the passion, the calling … no, you and I have already received from the Lord all that our neighbor, our friend, our co-worker or any one else need … we have been forgiven, restored, loved, shown grace, mercy, kindness and more. You are rich in the gospel so give it all away!
TODAY’S PRAYER FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
1. Lord, give us an abundance mindset, that every believer, rich in the gospel, may share it abundantly. 2. Lord, may we see others through your eyes, seeing that what is truly needed is the very thing we possess … life in Christ!
TODAY’S PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE ON YOUR LIST
Lord, may the overflowing gospel generosity of Christ followers be evident to each person/family on my list. Lord, give your children opportunities for gospel generosity so that each person/family on my list my come to know you.
