TODAY’S PRAYER THOUGHT
“Missions exists because worship does not” seems radical and not very gracious, but is true and logical. Evangelism/missions exist because when an unbeliever “worships” God, their worship is missing two elements the Lord mentioned to the Samaritan woman: Spirit, which is right relationship, and truth, which is right information. Jesus said that the Father is seeking such worshipers, because there are false and true worshipers. Evangelism/missions are crucial not only for the salvation of our neighbors, but also so they can worship the Lord in spirit and truth. The only way, truth and life is Jesus; He is the only way to worship God fully.

TODAY’S PRAYER FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
Lord Help us to truly believe you are the only way, the only truth, and the only life. And to have the boldness to share the good news of Christ, our only Savior. Amen

Lord, I pray for every family and individual on my list. I pray your Holy Spirit brings conviction to our hearts to share the Gospel and to our neighbors so they might turn to Jesus for salvation.
