TODAY’S PRAYER THOUGHT
Imagine every man, woman, and child in Katy/West Houston being given the repeated opportunity to see, hear, and respond to the Gospel. That’s what God wants! To see that vision become a reality we must see individual followers of Jesus identifying people in their lives who don’t know Jesus, praying/fasting for them, reaching out in love, and introducing them to Jesus. We must see all of God’s people “moving” out where they live, work/ study, and play with the life-giving Gospel of Jesus. As Awaken begins, imagine believers “scattered” in every nook and cranny of our city living Spirit-filled lives and telling others about Jesus. Do it, Lord!
TODAY’S PRAYER FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
1. Lord, inspire Your people in our city to “get moving” with the Gospel where they live, work/study, and play. 2. Lord, we gather each Sunday in our churches; as we scatter throughout the week help us go about “preaching the word.”
TODAY’S PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE ON YOUR LIST
Lord, use the devoted prayers, loving actions, and bold “preaching of the word” of Your people to awaken each person/family on my list to Your great love. 2. Help each person/family on my list understand the Gospel and trust in Jesus for salvation.
