    Women’s Bible Study

    6:00-7:30 pm

Led by: Allison Bissonette & Sherry Long

Jesus & Women in the First Century and Now (Kristi McLelland). Come explore how Jesus generously restores dignity and honor to women in the first century and now. We’ll be joining biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports us back to Jesus’ world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God.

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth – braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, “Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.

Cost: Participants purchase their own workbook from Amazon or local Christian bookstore

    Single Parenting Together

    6:00-7:30 pm in Room C233

Led by Rebecca Skinner and Tava Dalton

Unfamiliar Territory: Navigating the Single Parent Life

This spring we are offering a topical study called Unfamiliar Territory, developed for single parents by Steve Crain, LPC-S, and his wife, Holly Crain, who has served in Single Parent Family Ministry for the past 16 years. In this study, they will uncover biblical truths that are relevant to the roads single parents find themselves on.

You will hear testimonies of those who have traveled the road before you, have the opportunity to participate in engaging discussions, and get the chance to hear the perspective of adult children who grew up in single parent homes. Bring your single parent friends and make plans to join us this spring!

Single Parenting Together is a community where primary faith trainers, who are parenting on their own, can find the support and encouragement they need while developing a confident trust in Christ’s power, wisdom, and goodness. If family life has turned out a little different than you expected, joining this Single Parenting Together class is a way for you to discover ongoing healing and hope for your journey while growing spiritually with other single parents. After all, we are stronger together!

Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world. (James 1:27)
