Dr. Cesar Y Perez and his family joined the Kingsland staff in June 2019. As Pastor for International Groups, he leads the efforts for reaching international people groups that reside in the West Houston/Katy area. He provides leadership to enlist, equip, and train leaders for all these groups by establishing new on and off campus Community Groups on both Kingsland Campuses. He also coordinates and supports outreach strategies for Kingsland’s growing and thriving Spanish and Chinese Ministries.

Cesar earned a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics with a concentration in simultaneous translation in 1996. He also completed studies for a Master degree on Philosophy and Theology (ThM) in 2005 and graduated from a Doctorate in Ministry (DMin) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO in 2018. He is currently a PhD student in Midwestern Seminary.

He has served in different capacities and contexts as a college ministry leader, church planter, missionary and pastor since 1996. But above all, he is a passionate follower of Christ.

Cesar and his lovely wife, Gretha, have been married since 1999, and they have two wonderful children, Yoel (2004) and Brenda (2008). He loves coffee and mate, enjoys traveling with his family, and watching baseball and football.
