KSM Staff Changes

KSM Staff Changes

Hey KSM Families,

Here is an outline of the changes happening to the KSM staff on January 1st.

1.) I (Ryan Cook) will be transitioning into the role of 'Campus Pastor' for our new church location. The second Kingsland site will not launch until next Fall, but there is much to be done between now and then. I am excited for this new role and so thankful our family can remain at Kingsland for many years to come. I have loved serving as the Student Pastor and God has done some amazing things in the last 4 years. The really exciting part is that God has assembled an incredible KSM Staff and this ministries best days are ahead.

2.) Joe Landi will be taking over as the new Student Pastor. God clearly brought this man to our team at just the right time for this change. Joe is a gifted leader and passionate about student ministry and equipping families. He has already begun taking steps to be ready for the next season. He will have been here 1 full year in January and has seen how all the big and small pieces of the KSM work. He is ready to lead and will be a wonderful blessing to you all.

3.) Kayla Self will be our new Student Ministry Associate. Kayla has served faithfully as an intern the past 16 months. God called her to ministry while she was serving with us, and He has now opened the door for her to join our team permanently. She will be working with Chris Kincaid to oversee Jr High girls ministry. She will also be partnering with Lindsay Crisanti to have a larger role in Jr High Lifegroups. She is a great leader and we are very thankful to have her on the team.

Rest assured that things like UTURN, Kamp, Mission Trips, Lifegroups, Fuel, Ignite, and many others will continue to grow and develop in the KSM. We have been working for the last year on some needed changes to our mid-week ministry and will have some exciting announcements coming in January about that.

God has been so faithful to Kingsland and the KSM during the last several years of transition. He has assembled an amazing team of staff leaders, and filled our church with incredible families who truly want to own the discipleship process. It has been my joy to partner and serve along side you. I am so grateful for the support and prayers you've given.

Be praying for the days ahead. Greater things have yet to come and greater things are still to be done in this city.

Serving Him,
Ryan
